Ignorance

Today I was accused of saying things I never have said publicly and was at the same time called an idiot because I don't live where it snows therefore I couldn't possibly have a clue how to drive in bad weather. Then I was told how I like to fight on Facebook and that is not this person's "thing."
It takes two, and I was not the antagonist..... ugh. Your ignorance is showing, and everyone can see it from your perch atop your mountain state pedestal.

Biggest facepalm of all time.
That's all I need to say about it.

This past weekend I was participating in my reserve duty, which involved a whole lot of sitting around, waiting for some aircraft to come in for maintenance (never happened) and enduring some morons trying to tell me what I believe in regard to obscure incorrect information they had heard about MY religion.
To these morons:
First, you are idiots.
Second, how the hell do you think you know more about what I believe when the extent of your religious experience only reaches the heights of your exploits on AshleyMadison.com?
Third, when I tell you how and why your misinformation in wrong don't take it as though I'm trying to make up a cover in an attempt to hide something. I will tell you exactly why you are wrong whether or not it makes you look like an ignoramus publicly.
Next time you will be more tactful in your inquisition.

I am probably not the best representative of my faith, and I don't claim to be. When you try to make me look stupid for whatever self-fulfilling intention you may have I will respond by using every last ounce of wit I may have to make you out to be the asinine half wit you really are.
Also... does your wife know you talk about other people's significant others as if you were still in a sophomore locker room?

I was about ready to assault people Sunday afternoon.

This came on the tail end of a week or so of me being very prone to aggravation and anger. Really strange for me.

Then there was the change of command ceremony....
I was "voluntold" to attend this ridiculous display of pomp in what is a tradition of wasting time and resources while higher up leaders attempt to make jokes in a pre- written speech. Listening to people laugh out of nothing but obligation is awkward at best...
So that was my weekend. A frustrating exercise in patience while watching your tax dollars be squandered on meaningless theatrics.

Here, I took a picture of what was bought with a chunk of your paycheck....

Aggravated

I've been so grumpy lately. Almost everything seems to aggravate me in some way.
Too many things going on, too many poor decisions being made which are beyond my control yet affect me directly, too little thought going into the decision making of managers with less experience in their field than most of the employees they manage.
Today I listened to high ranking leaders read pre-written speeches about how great they are and how great their replacement are and will be.
Meanwhile all the people who do the actual work get very little if any recognition. As a matter of fact this year so far the employees are getting a big decrease in opportunity to train and excel.
I don't know where I'm going with this, but I know I disagree with many of the practices going on around me. Whether the motivation is influence, money, power or just vengeance I don't know. Maybe people just wallow in the delusion that what they do is somehow good for everyone.
Maybe I simply don't have all the facts and perspective these people do.
I'll get over it. Hopefully the deluded will get over it too.

Where to begin?
It's been nearly two years since I started this blog with the intention of a regular political (and everything else) satire commentary.

Don't know what happened to that motivation....

In any case politics in the last year seem to have been a direct reflection of the majority of idiots who actually make it to the polls.
Mostly I blame influences like the MTV "Rock the Vote" campaign.
The problem is this;
The media that tells uneducated teens what to like and watch is also subversively telling them to go out and vote for popular initiatives and candidates.
Last time I saw a general group of teens make a collectively good decision was prior to the existence of MTV. So basically before my lifetime.

The outcome of this irresponsible voting may be the downfall of the United States states and its allies as a superpower.
I have a unique perspective into this I think. Without specifics I an enlisted member of the U.S. military. I see on a regular basis money taken from the nation's defense and given to private interest groups and foreign countries so they will like us a little more. Seriously, these politicians who have been elected THINK they can buy friends. I emphasize "think" add they probably do not give any thought to how ridiculous "buying friends" sounds.

I'm any case, I'm going to try to get in a post a week for this year. That doesn't mean one  per week, that means 26 total.

See you soon.
