You're wrong, I'm wrong. I'm over it.

I find it nihilistically hilarious that people market their opinion as infallible fact.

Today I feel so disenfranchised with the burden of existence itself such that I cannot take anything seriously.
Everyone has their agenda, their conspiracy, their movement, their complete unabashed love for telling everyone they don't (and do) know that every aspect of their life is wrong, harmful to others and the planet, and that the government is trying to control the universe with chemtrails, secret societies and taxation.

(That's placing a mountain of credit on an entity that cannot seem to wrap their collective minds around healthcare... 'nother discussion.)

Social media has done wonders for the cause of mass confusion.
Someone (likely a "friend" you haven't seen in years) posts a link to a story (from a shady website you've neverheardof.cz) stating how their neighbor's use of fluoridated toothpaste causes alzheimers in pet chinchillas in the Andes...
Then we shortly see "experts" across your screen talking about their self made PHd course in Chemical Biology shares their input which likely involves making up 67% of their statistics 97% of the time.
Entire continents then outlaw the act of brushing teeth!
Then others take those thoughts as fact, spread this "information" and the cycle continues.

(I'm pretty sure this cycle is the reason for President Camacho's eventual election 490 years from now and the conversion to the flora hydration substance of choice: Brawndo.)

Meanwhile anyone who cares to pipe in with some semblance of reserved rationality is smeared as an uneducated bigot of a blowhard who harbors colonialist ideals while blowing up entire third world nations with a few short twitter keystrokes.

Then the arguments start. Someone's feelings being debated against someone else's personal code of trolling.
No progress is made, people only become aggravated before they realize they've wasted what would have been a good night's sleep only in a futile attempt to "win" an argument over trivial matters such as the ethical ramifications or administering coffee enemas to lethargic household felines (or show dogs, you pick.)

This is why I don't take anything seriously. (Except that FB stock... keep on climbing baby! The more people spread their delirium and drivel across that beautiful advertising platform, the more money I make.)

Social media has the tendency to be the Jerry Springer Show of the internet.
Anything goes. ANYTHING. (Just ask the USMC.)

So please get triggered on this final thought:

Don't be the person who lives thinking:
"My opinion is gospel and all others are the seed of satan set to consume physical existence itself."
(Would that be such a horrible thing really? Not much to miss if there is literally no one left to enjoy eternal nothingness.)

Stupidity and Mildly Hilarious Goat Babble

THIS:

Regardless of anyone's religious beliefs or interpretation, THE THEME OF THIS MESSAGE is that the president was mocking religion.

It is wholly unimportant what idea he is trying to convey when he comes across as a blubbering, arrogant & ignorant moron.
He has shown he is not religious and takes no one's religious freedoms seriously.
This is all a fairytale to this clown.

It's obvious religion has played no part in his policy making, as his actions have only further enslaved Americans for generations to come.
Good luck America, that's all we have left to go on.

When you muddy any meaningful message with transparent ignorance, you just end up sounding like this:

[Idiots.]

I am wholly disenfranchised with politics.
Parties, candidates, campaigning, fundraising, lies, damn lies, etc.

It seems as a while politicians are self serving and care little about the actual job they are there to do:
Represent the interests and promote the well being of their constituents.

I hate it all and I want some tangible, productive change & improvement.

Warning: Religious Opinion!

First read this. (The following will have no contextual meaning otherwise....)

It was my experience as a young newlywed moving to Utah a decade or so ago that the main conflict here with actual doctrine vs practical (or impractical) practice is brought about if not mostly by then in part by the rampantly contradictory LDS culture in the region.

Predominantly LDS regions have a social culture which is horribly broken without much hope for repair so far as I can tell.(If you can maintain complete separation from all things relating to LDS church members should you happen to live in Utah, you probably wouldn't notice, unless you enjoy alcohol.)
I am ever grateful that I was mature enough to know when the time came to expect our first child that it would be wise to raise them in a more socially diverse environment. So after two years in the "lovely deseret" we packed up, sold our house and left before our firstborn would take their first breath.

I will never regret leaving, and still occasionally visit the beehive state and witness how the loathsome traits of the collective LDS culture has furthered its decline.

A couple random thoughts:

Could a link be drawn to the rampant prescribing of medication to treat depression and anxiety in the region be linked to this person conflict creating phenomenon? Very possibly. I'll refrain from elaborating on that sensitive idea.

For the record there should be some equalization with this statement:
"Boys will be boys, and that sometimes they will think inappropriate thoughts."
Girls and women, as equally sexual beings will and do have "inappropriate thoughts."

These phenomenal thought processes are part of being human and not exclusively a bad thing. I hold some minor disdain for all sexual thought being generally categorized as inappropriate. Without these thought patterns you and I would certainly not be here.

I enjoy my membership in the church. I certainly hope to never feel otherwise. I know my beliefs and knowledge are deeply rooted enough to help me separate the actions and thoughts of LDS people from ACTUAL church doctrines. There are some ways of thinking that creep in among it's membership that seem and sometimes are extreme and/or unfounded.

This note shared alludes well to how some LDS groups have created their own baseless standards:

"
Do I have a problem with the cultural implications? Yes, I do. The specific clothing items mentioned in this official declaration are “short shorts and skirts, tight clothing, and shirts that don’t cover the stomach.” That’s it. No flagrant scolding messages about bare shoulders, knees, and toes (knees and toes). No finger-pointing about blouses that actually elude to the fact that women have breasts."
I think this is very well put. The same idea exists with the predominant myth that Mormons cannot consume caffeine. This idea was born from the Word of Wisdom doctrine advising that a member should not drink coffee or other "hot drinks."
There is no official or doctrinal declaration forbidding the use of caffeine.
That is not to say it is healthy to replace water with Diet Coke.... (another seeming rampant issue among the LDS in the mountain west and elsewhere...)

Amen.

Ignorance

Today I was accused of saying things I never have said publicly and was at the same time called an idiot because I don't live where it snows therefore I couldn't possibly have a clue how to drive in bad weather. Then I was told how I like to fight on Facebook and that is not this person's "thing."
It takes two, and I was not the antagonist..... ugh. Your ignorance is showing, and everyone can see it from your perch atop your mountain state pedestal.

Biggest facepalm of all time.
That's all I need to say about it.

This past weekend I was participating in my reserve duty, which involved a whole lot of sitting around, waiting for some aircraft to come in for maintenance (never happened) and enduring some morons trying to tell me what I believe in regard to obscure incorrect information they had heard about MY religion.
To these morons:
First, you are idiots.
Second, how the hell do you think you know more about what I believe when the extent of your religious experience only reaches the heights of your exploits on AshleyMadison.com?
Third, when I tell you how and why your misinformation in wrong don't take it as though I'm trying to make up a cover in an attempt to hide something. I will tell you exactly why you are wrong whether or not it makes you look like an ignoramus publicly.
Next time you will be more tactful in your inquisition.

I am probably not the best representative of my faith, and I don't claim to be. When you try to make me look stupid for whatever self-fulfilling intention you may have I will respond by using every last ounce of wit I may have to make you out to be the asinine half wit you really are.
Also... does your wife know you talk about other people's significant others as if you were still in a sophomore locker room?

I was about ready to assault people Sunday afternoon.

This came on the tail end of a week or so of me being very prone to aggravation and anger. Really strange for me.

Then there was the change of command ceremony....
I was "voluntold" to attend this ridiculous display of pomp in what is a tradition of wasting time and resources while higher up leaders attempt to make jokes in a pre- written speech. Listening to people laugh out of nothing but obligation is awkward at best...
So that was my weekend. A frustrating exercise in patience while watching your tax dollars be squandered on meaningless theatrics.

Here, I took a picture of what was bought with a chunk of your paycheck....

Aggravated

I've been so grumpy lately. Almost everything seems to aggravate me in some way.
Too many things going on, too many poor decisions being made which are beyond my control yet affect me directly, too little thought going into the decision making of managers with less experience in their field than most of the employees they manage.
Today I listened to high ranking leaders read pre-written speeches about how great they are and how great their replacement are and will be.
Meanwhile all the people who do the actual work get very little if any recognition. As a matter of fact this year so far the employees are getting a big decrease in opportunity to train and excel.
I don't know where I'm going with this, but I know I disagree with many of the practices going on around me. Whether the motivation is influence, money, power or just vengeance I don't know. Maybe people just wallow in the delusion that what they do is somehow good for everyone.
Maybe I simply don't have all the facts and perspective these people do.
I'll get over it. Hopefully the deluded will get over it too.

Where to begin?
It's been nearly two years since I started this blog with the intention of a regular political (and everything else) satire commentary.

Don't know what happened to that motivation....

In any case politics in the last year seem to have been a direct reflection of the majority of idiots who actually make it to the polls.
Mostly I blame influences like the MTV "Rock the Vote" campaign.
The problem is this;
The media that tells uneducated teens what to like and watch is also subversively telling them to go out and vote for popular initiatives and candidates.
Last time I saw a general group of teens make a collectively good decision was prior to the existence of MTV. So basically before my lifetime.

The outcome of this irresponsible voting may be the downfall of the United States states and its allies as a superpower.
I have a unique perspective into this I think. Without specifics I an enlisted member of the U.S. military. I see on a regular basis money taken from the nation's defense and given to private interest groups and foreign countries so they will like us a little more. Seriously, these politicians who have been elected THINK they can buy friends. I emphasize "think" add they probably do not give any thought to how ridiculous "buying friends" sounds.

I'm any case, I'm going to try to get in a post a week for this year. That doesn't mean one  per week, that means 26 total.

See you soon.
